After a busy year including a 27 date tour of Ireland, tours in Finland, Russia, and the Middle East as well as upcoming tours of Australia and Scotland, we are excited to have David’s trio perform at the FWJF 2019.
Steve Hamilton, one of the most acclaimed pianists in Europe, will perform a special solo performance as part of the FWJF.

After much encouragement & tuition/guidance from saxophonist Tommy Smith, he won a scholarship to study Jazz at Berklee College of Music in 1991 – in addition to being a recipient of the Pat Smythe award, Steve’s studies at Berklee were generously subsidised by rock icon Phil Collins.
Since 1995 he has performed/recorded with such notable musicians as: Freddie Hubbard, Ray Charles, Pee Wee Ellis Assembly, Joe Lovano, Kurt Elling, John Scofield, Gary Burton, Van Morrison, Tommy Smith and many more.
Since 2013, Steve has been touring and recording as keyboard player with legendary drummer Billy Cobham’s Band.
